Shuttle358: “Fissure” (Frame, 12k 2000)

Dan Abrams’ first as Shuttle358 harks back to the days when Taylor Deupree’s then relatively nascent label 12k was focused on electronic minimalism, often with more severe tendencies. Frame is an early favorite of mine on the label because while it adheres to the more ascetic side of turn of the century electronic listening, it has a warmth that feels almost transcendent.
