snd: “00020 a” (stdio, Mille Plateaux 2000)

snd’s run of three albums for Mille Plateaux made a big splash for their headlong dive into glitchy minimalism. It was hard to not get too caught up in the wave of turn of the millennium clicks and cuts, with a whole litany of releases exploiting the glitch and digital music like no other before, but snd’s work especially still sounds fresh and qualified even now.
