Raudive: “Is It Dark In Here” (Chamber Music, Macro 2010)

Awesomely weird minimal techno from the outskirts, courtesy of Oliver Ho under his Raudive alias. Rediscovering this great album on Stefan Goldmann’s Macro label has prompted me to look him up, and he’s released another album since — double the discovery. I really dig the intersection of acoustic samples and instruments with often dry minimal electronic rhythm tracks. Especially good on headphones.
