Plaid & Bob Jaroc: “The Launching of Big Face” (Greedy Baby, Warp 2006)

Somehow I missed Plaid’s 2006 album virtually altogether, perhaps mistaking it for a score rather than an album of music and visual collaborations with video artist Bob Jaroc. The music is deniably Plaid, busy with arpeggios and chimes and mallets with an elusive lushness about it.
