Jarboe: “Lavender Girl” (Sacrificial Cake, Young God 1995)

Jarboe’s a hard one to pin down stylistically, between her often schizophrenic solo works and her wildly varied collaborations with Michael Gira in Swans. This is one of her more sublime tracks that I’ve heard, from her second full-length solo album.
