Arovane & Phonem: “Valid Fard” (Aer (Valid), Vertical Form 2001)

Arovane & Phonem’s out of print collaboration on the fine Vertical Form label fell a bit on my own deaf ears at the time. For whatever reason, I had a hard time locking into it the way I did their respective solo work at the time (which were definitely among my favorites). Now and again I return to it and am reminded that it’s actually quite strong and well worth revisiting.
