Howard Shore: “Sexual Logic” (Crash OST, 1996)

Howard Shore’s predominately guitar-based score for David Cronenberg’s 1996 film Crash seems totally apt given my being in a pretty severe car accident last night. No one was hurt, but my car certainly was. Cronenberg’s adaptation of J.G. Ballard’s novel of the same name portrays an odd subculture of people who fetishize and eroticize car crashes. This happens to be one of my favorite film scores.
