The Exposures: “Collage of Digital Passion” (Lost Recordings 2000-2004, Eastern Developments)

Jan Jelinek’s mysterious side project surfaced in 2004 or so with this collection of “lost recordings” that splits the difference between label host Scott Herren (Prefuse 73)’s hip hop productions and Jelinek’s cut and paste looping. The result is a set of R&B-inspired, skippy downtempo jams well worth a revisit.
