Kid606: “Twirl” (P.S. I Love You, Mille Plateaux 2000)

P.S. I Love You was the first music I’d heard from Kid606 that I’d describe as understated; previous efforts were full-on gabba, breakcore, or noise. He’s diversified his music ever since, so there’s plenty to explore in any number of directions by now, but much of this album remains especially dear to my heart.
