The Chemical Brothers: “Wide Open (Joe Goddard Remix)” (Wide Open (The Remixes), 2016)

The Chemical Brothers’ closing track on their last album, last year’s Born in the Echoes, has gotten a handful of remix treatments this year, and I quite like this jubilant extended rework by Joe Goddard of Hot Chip and The 2 Bears. While I liked the insularity and focus of 2010′s Further, which featured no flashy guest appearances, this collaboration with Beck is undeniably solid.
