System 7: “Miracle (The Orb Remix)” (777, Caroline 1992)

In honor of having 777 followers, here’s a throwback to 1992: Gong’s Steve Hillage began working as System 7 (sometimes credited to 777) in the early 90s, and his collaborations were vast enough to include the likes of Paul Oakenfold, The Orb, Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, and Derrick May. The marriage of classic piano house and tinges of rave with Hillage’s prog guitar is a strangely effective combo, especially with Alex Paterson’s hands on the controls here.
