Gui Boratto: “Hera (The Field Mix)” (Chromophobia Remixe Part 1, Kompakt)

The Field’s rework of Gui Boratto’s “Hera,” originally found on his Kompakt debut, Chromophobia, is a fantastic meeting of minds and talents. It has Axel Willner’s fingerprints all over it, but it still feels unified with Boratto’s original; after all, it’s almost entirely looped portions of that track. But played back in new ways, The Field steers it in a more minimal direction, hypnotizing.
