A new full-length appears on Type Records, courtesy of the man responsible for the Root Strata label. Really lovely textures define this one, an abstract take on shoegaze ambience. Guitar patterns and drones mingle with feedback and reverb to create vibrant, textural ambient works that are equally soothing and exciting — shoegaze distilled into something somehow more pure, more abstract. The cover art sums it up quite well: sunny, hazy, vibrant and obscured.
