Sarah Nixey: “Silk Threads (Microfilm’s Unraveled Mix)”

This is one of two remixes I did (as part of Microfilm) for Sarah Nixey, the former chanteuse of Black Box Recorder. “Silk Threads” is a dreamy, lush ballad that kicks off her lovely recent album, Brave Tin Soldiers. This remix is something different altogether, a club take on it that ought to get a dancefloor moving. The other mix will be out in a couple of weeks as part of the Silk Threads EP release, with more of a 90s house flavor.
