I have been a fan of Microfilm for quite some time now. The problem I have when I become a fan of an artist/band is that, as I get to know the body of their work more, I realize what they are capable of, and in turn I tend to have much higher (and steeper!) expectation for them to meet. This is no different for Microfilm. So when I first took a listen to AggroPastels (aggressive, delicate colors?), I was a bit weary of what I might find. But before I share what I thought about the album, why not take a gander at what Microfilm, the duo of Matt Kepel and Matt Mercer, have to say about the album first.
