Murcof: “Rostro” (Remembranza, Leaf 2005)

One of my all-time favorite albums. I had never seen this video clip before and stumbled onto it when I was looking up tracks from this release. The Australian film Lake Mungo (highly recommended) reminded me how wonderful Remembranza is, using multiple tracks for it as a score to its quasi-documentary style production. While I’ve enjoyed all of Murcof’s music, Remembranza seems to be the most intense and intimate; it really resonates on a deep level for me personally.
