This Heat: “Rainforest” (This Heat, 1979)

This Heat’s first proper album is such a far cry from the John Peel Sessions recorded before it. I much prefer this more caustic, tape-infused sound more, pushing further out of bounds of conventional songs and rock n’ roll.
