Andreas Tilliander: “Untitled (D1)” (Ljud, Mille Plateaux 2001)

Andreas Tilliander has not only produced some fine music under his birth name, but also has a variety of aliases, including Komp, Lowfour, Mokira, and TM404. Ljud (Sound) was his first album under his name, and each of its untitled tracks explores minimalism through rhythm and sonic fragments, borrowing equally from the dubbed out minimal techno of Rhythm & Sound and glitchier experimental acts like Oval and SND.
