Suum Cuique: “Red Binary ” (Midden, Young Americans 2010)

Miles Whitaker, one half of Demdike Stare who also records under his first name, is the man behind Suum Cuique. This project explores the darker, ambient outskirts of electronic listening music more than Miles, which tends to focus on murkier, crunchy techno not far off from Andy Stott’s recent endeavors. This one is my favorite from his first album, Midden.
