Modeselektor & Thom Yorke: “Shipwreck” (Monkeytown, 2011)

I’m not sure why Modeselektor’s last album Monkeytown took so long to click for me. I usually can snap into it right away with their clever mix of IDM, hip hop and rave sounds (in varying proportions) but this one was a slow brew for me. Ah well, better late than never… turns out the whole thing is pretty damn good after all.
